Walking trails and a wee bit of driving
Patrick left this morning for Africa. I cannot be Rapunzel, I simply do not have the hair for that, so I jumped in the car and made it safely down to the shop and back. I needed some eggs.

On our walk up a different hill today we discovered Nathan's post, what a quietly beautiful memorial
These sheep recently moved into the field just down the lane. They are called White Faced Dartmoor Sheep and are noted as being an ancient breed. These guys are a very fluffly lot!
Copper really is the best looking four legged guy though. Evening walks on the polo practice field is one of his favorite things to do. No annoying thistles
Blackbird singing in the dead of night runs through my head on a daily basis
We discovered a new path up the road from the house with a corn field just on the other side
Rob the log man also cuts our grass, Copper stole Millie's treat.

This very old famous tree is nearly in our back yard! It is believed to be 1,000 years old and is hollow. Story states that Queen Elizabeth I shot her first deer near this tree, or at least tried.
There was a lot of walking done today
