Ye Olde.... Paul and Abigail's visit plus a couple extra days
We met up with Paul and Abigail at a very stylish hotel in London that used to be a bank, I am sensing a trend. We like to stand in old bank buildings.
Being from Colorado, we are accustomed to beer tasting. Gin tasting is a not different...well, maybe it is
and this is where the "Ye Olde week began!
I think these steps are designed to prevent partaking in too much ale
After a cheers we went on to the theatre for a lively performance of Strictly Ballroom, It was strictly entertaining
One benefit from waking early is that nobody gets in the way of a beautiful setting
Not a bad seat in the house
Gorgeous little man!
Abigail met Goliath!
The sun is shining so off to the beach we go, West Witterings is one of my favorite places to go
Copper loves it too!
Grabbed lunch at The Crab and Lobster
Copper is NOT 100% sure about this new place to sit
But he is willing to sit anywhere to go to the beach!
We ALL had such a great time with Paul and Abigail!
That is one big moon!
We took the train down to Portsmouth for a soccer match
It takes a village to move the pumpkins
Stopped into this little shop to pick up a bottle of gin. We left an hour later with more than one bottle of gin.
We went to Jane Austins House!
Copper was really mad that the pub stopped serving food just minutes before we arrived. Funny, the kitchen was open to the English folks that came in shortly after. I did tell the bar keep that I was very disappointed. Rude.
Copper can fit on the "dog seat"!
Arundel castle is one not to be missed, I will go again and again
Private Chapel in Arundel
I'd spend some time reading in this library!
I asked if I could borrow this for the winter
Everything in the castle was truly amazing Stained glass window in the chapel
